Freude, Freude: Endlich mal wieder ein Ball mit von Haus aus polierter Solid-Schale. Lange keinen dieser Art ab Werk gesehen.

Lt. Ankündigung erwartet uns hier eine Ballreaktion, die Nahe der sehr sehr beliebten Silver Streak bzw. Nomad Serie liegen soll. Daher exakt gebohrt wie die schwarzen Silver Streak´s in der Vergangenheit. Wollen wir mal gucken, ob das auch tatsächlich so ist.

Und Surprise Surprise: Ich fühle mich tatsächlich in die Vergangenheit zurückversetzt. Der schwarze Silver Streak war seinerzeit der Benchmarkball schlechthin. Und darüber hinaus. Oft, und mehr als einmal, genau das, was ich dann in die Hand genommen habe, wenn nichts anderes mehr ging. Und die Streaks haben nie enttäuscht. ´

Der Hysteria setzt diese Qualität in unverminderter Form fort. Sauber in den Heads, stark, aber gut kontrollierbar, hartes Backend, aber ohne mich vor Rätsel zu stellen. Reagiert sehr gut auf Tempo-/ und Achstiltveränderungen und im Ergebnis kommt immer das raus, was mach sich vor dem Wurf vorgestellt hat.

Likes: Excellent einsetzbar auf allem worauf ich seither geworfen habe. Mein aktueller Benchmarkball, der oftmals der einzige Ball auf dem Teller bleibt. Gibt keinen Grund was anderes auszuprobieren. Wenn das nicht mal viel aussagt?!
Dislikes: Kilometerlanges, cm-hohes Öl oder wenn jemand mit dem Fön über die Bahn gegangen ist.
Allover: Alles dazwischen funktioniert für mich ausgesprochen gut!!!

Oh, happy days: finally a ball with a Factory Polished Solid Coverstock. It’s been a while since the last one.

According to the ball announcement, what we could expect was a ball reaction that is close to the very,very popular SIlver Streak/Nomad series. To put that to the test, I used the same layout on my Hysteria as I did on the black Silver Streaks of days gone by. Now, let’s take a look if it all actually worked out.

And surprise, surprise: it’s like back to the future. The black Silver Streak was the benchmark ball. And more. Often, and I mean often, it was the ball I threw when nothing else worked. And the Streaks never disappointed!

The Hysteria carries on the tradition. Clean through the heads; strong, yet controllable and strong backend motion – nothing mysterious going on here. Reacted extremely well to speed/axis tilt changes and the result is always exactly what the shot was supposed to look like.

Likes: Great ball to use on all the patterns I’ve bowled on since drilling up my Hysteria. It’s my current benchmark ball and often the only one that stays on the ball return. There is no reason to try anything else! I think that says a lot about the ball!
Dislikes: Very long, Heavy Oil patterns or when the lane conditions are more like a desert.
All-in-all: For everything in between the above conditions, there’s hardly a better choice than the Hysteria!!!
