I’M HARDCORE FOR A REASON...
I didn’t grow up with bedtime stories and trips to summer camp. It’s been a life of scrapping and proving what I’m made of – the same Paragon Core as the Defiant, Defiant Edge and Defiant Soul. When I hear people start talking trash about me, I give them my sweeping backend Hook that hits hard and leaves them speechless.

Some people shudder at the thought of Medium-Heavy Oil conditions. Not me – I say bring it on. My skid-hook-roll combo is beyond awesome, and I will bring it to the lane over and over again. The only thing more satisfying than watching the pins fall is seeing the look of embarrassment and defeat on my opponents’ faces when I claim victory.

Testbericht
Der Totally Defiant ist definitiv der Ball mit der eckigsten Backendbewegung aus vielseitigen Defiant Serie.
Das benutzte Layout liefert eine fantastische Länge und einen Move am Breakpoint, den ich mir schon lange von einem ROTO GRIP Ball gewünscht habe. Die Oberfläche habe ich OOB (Out of Box) gelassen.
Für mich im Moment DER Ball von ROTO GRIP, wenn es um „Knick“ geht. Der Totally Defiant ist für medium bis medium-heavy Konditionen geeignet, wobei ihm etwas mehr Öl weniger ausmacht, als wenn es zu trocken wird. Aber für trocknere Bahnen ist er nicht gemacht, hier gibt es andere Alternativen (Freak´n Frantic, Lights Out, Wrecker etc.).
Auch auf diversen Sportspattern der Kegel-Series ist er vielseitig mit hohen Ergebnissen einsetzbar. Kaum under/over Reaktion, Carrydown macht ihm trotz der polierten Schale wenig aus. Ein echter Gewinner, der bei mir zumeist als erstes auf dem Ballteller liegt.
Beim meinem letzten Turnier gelang mir eine phantastische 826er Serie (3-Serie).

Test report
The Totally Defiant is without a doubt the ball with the most defined skid/flip reaction in the versatile Defiant series. The layout I choose provided incredible length and a move at the breakpoint that I have been hoping to find in a ROTO GRIP ball for a long time. I left the Coverstock at OOB.
The Totally Defiant is currently THE ROTO GRIP ball of choice when it comes to “flip.” The Totally Defiant is perfectly suited for medium to medium-heavy conditions, whereby a little more Oil affects it less than too little. But, fact is, its not designed for dry lanes. There are other alternatives (Freak´n Frantic, Lights Out, Wrecker etc.) that are better suited for drier conditions.
I’ve used the Totally Defiant on a wide variety of sports patterns from the Kegel series and the ball has proven to be tremendously versatile. Needless to say I’ve achieved some great scores with it. There is hardly any over/under reaction and carrydown doesn’t diminish performance despite its Pearlized cover. A true winner which I generally pull out of the bag first.
In fact, I shot an incredible 826 series in three games during my last tournament.
