STORM Punch Out
Performance comes in all shapes and sized…and price points! The new Punch Out and Wipe Out widen the scope of ball reaction and hit the pins a lot harder than they will hit your pocketbook!
Why two new balls? Bowlers and lane conditions are Different from center to center and day to day. Both balls feature the proven R2S Coverstock which has helped make the Hy-Road, among others, famous. Some even use the term ‘legendary.’ Yes, it‘s that good.
And both feature the proven Turbine Core which create ample dynamics for many players. But, to make sure that STORM has the perfect ball for you no matter what, we are pleased to offer both a Solid, textured option in the Wipe Out that will read the midlane and a pearlized, Polished choice in the Punch Out that will react later and snap harder on the backend.
So, which one is right for me?
Bowlers’ styles also vary greatly: some have immense amounts of speed while others are more finesse players. Which type of player are you? Those with softer speed and higher rev rate will lean towards the Punch Out while those who prefer the down-and-in line with firmer velocity will love the Wipe Out. It all depends on you…the choice is yours, and we made that choice easy.

Testbericht
Test report
The Punch Out was designed for medium to light Oil conditions. Due to its pearlized coverstock and larger core (identical to the core used in the Wipe Out and Lights Out), the Punch Out produces a stronger change of direction in the backend, while offering excellent length.
Because I often have problems with balls producing extreme length and very hard backend reaction often associated with “weaker” balls with large-volume cores and, in particular, in combination with pearlized covers, I decided on using the stronger layout stated above. The goal is being able to use the Punch Out, for example during league, when playing deeper angles is required.
The Punch Out moves easily through the heads and still gives me a strong, yet readable backend reaction; without any squirrely motion. In particular when lanes break down and everything else seems too strong/too much, I am able to use the Punch Out in a variety of ways. The hitting power and carry are phantastic - just as you would expect from STORM balls.
Ther Punch Out offers a lot of ball for the price and I know I have something reliable in the bag when the lanes turn to toast.
Sincerely, Frank Heine
