All STORM bowling balls, starting with the Weightblock, are built with the bowler in mind. The carefully-contoured C.A.M. (Continuous Axis Migration) Weightblock is shaped to create a steady migration of the axis throughout the lane. What does that do for you? It produces a more consistent amount of flare even when you aren’t as consistent as you’d like.
For the shell, STORM chose the unparalleled R2S material, specifically a 4000 GRIT PAD Hybrid combination that combines traction and control to help you conquer a multitude of conditions. Never get “stuck” trying to find the proper Breakpoint again.

Testbericht
Der REIGN ON kommt mit der matten Form der Hybrid-Schale des Dauerbrenners HY-ROAD und dem C.A.M. (Continuous Axis Migration) Kern.
Schale und Kern versprechen starke, aber gut kontrollierbare Reaktion auf medium bis medium/heavy Konditionen. Das passt! Mein Layout gibt mir eine starke Backendbewegung, ohne dass der Ball springt. Ich kann den Breakpoint jederzeit leicht definieren und bekomme Bahnveränderungen gut lesbar anhand der Ballreaktion aufgezeigt. Das macht ihn zu einem echten starken Benchmark-Ball, der vielseitig und oft einsetzbar ist.
Der REIGN ON ist oft "Der 1.Ball auf dem Ballteller" und es gibt Tage, da bleibt er auch der Einzige dort! Zumindest solange, bis das Pattern in den Heads zerschossen ist, dann ist ein Wechsel auf DERANGED oder HY-RAOD PEARL notwendig.
Aber bis dahin ist es oft weit, sodass ich den REIGN ON lange lange einsetzen kann.
Und das ist gut so!

Test report
The REIGN ON comes with a dulled version of the now legendary HY-ROAD hybrid coverstock and the C.A.M. core.
The coverstock and core promise a strong, yet controlled reaxction on medium to medium-heavy conditions. And it does just that! The layout I chose provided a strong backend move, but never jumpy and uncontrollable. I can easy define the breakpoint and can read changing lane conditions easily thanks to the ball’s motion. This makes the REIGN ON a truly strong benchmark ball that is versatile and can be used very often.
The REIGN ON is often the first ball out of the bag and there are days when it’s the only ball that sees any daylight! At least until the heads are fried and the DERANGED or HY-ROAD PEARL get some game time.
But it’s often a long, long time before that happens and I can use the REIGN ON for a long, long time.
And that’s just what the doctor ordered!
